REVEGETATION METHODS USING CHEMICAL SCARIFICATION TREATED SEED

An afforestation method using seeds with the testa chemically softened is provided to prevent native plants from being pressed by foreign plants, and to lead the native plants to live symbiotically with the foreign plants. An afforestation method using seeds with the testa chemically softened comprises the steps of: soaking the seeds of a plant in a 1~10% NaOCl solution for 1~24hr to soften the testa of the seeds chemically; washing the seeds with the softened testa in flowing water for 1~12hr; mixing the washed seeds with a composition containing 10~90wt% of organic soil, 0.1~5wt% of an adhesive, and 5~50wt% of high-functional inorganic artificial soil; and scattering the seeds mixed with the composition over the ground. The method further comprises the step of drying the washed seeds in the shade at 25°C before mixing them with the composition.
