Actuator assembly for use with mortice lock

An actuator assembly (8) for use with a mortice lock assembly (1). The actuator assembly includes a mount (10) for securing the mount to the housing of the lock assembly. The actuator assembly also includes a cam (7) that is rotatable relative to the mount. The cam interacts with elements of the mortice lock assembly. The cam is retained by the mount when in use and is rotatable to a detached position whereby the cam can be detached from the mount. This enables the cam to be detached without the use of specific tools.
