A deodorant and antibacterial fiber product containing a cancrinite-like mineral which contains a metal having deodorizing and antibacterial properties, a clay mineral, bleached softwood kraft pulp and bleached hardwood kraft pulp. The weight ratio of bleached softwood kraft pulp/bleached hardwood kraft pulp preferably ranges from 95/5 to 50/50. As the clay mineral, zeolite, sepiolite or bentonite is preferred. It is preferable that the deodorant and antibacterial fiber product is in the shape of a sheet, broken pieces thereof, grains or a three-dimensionally molded article. |
