The device has a profile (2) made of rubber/synthetic material, mounted on a door (1) i.e. side door, in a vicinity of free edge of the door. The profile has a lip (23) movable between a retracted position in which the lip opens the edge and a deployed position in which the lip overlaps a part of the edge, where the positions correspond to closed and open positions of the door. The profile has a main body (21), whose portion of an outer surface (22) is fixed on a side of door`s body. The body (21) has a retaining lug (24) in contact with an element (3) of a body of vehicle.
