Molten salt compositions comprising two or more types of molten salts (MTFSI) containing imido anion (TFSI) as an anion and alkali metal (M) as a cation exhibit a lowered electrolyte melting point and an enlarged operating temperature range as compared with those of single salts. Therefore, various advantages, such as enlarging of the range of material choice in the use in battery, etc., can be brought about.
