<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the filter performance of a filter for a long term by prolonging the time before the filter is clogged. <P>SOLUTION: The filter apparatus 1 provided in an air flow passage 4 between an air inflow port 2 and an air outflow port 3 is equipped with an air filter body 5 having a communicating path 6 communicating with the air inflow port 2 and the air outflow port 3, a filter member 7 which is mounted to shut off the communicating path 6 and includes an inflow face 7a having air permeability and admitting air to flow in and an outflow face 7b running off the air, and a switching mechanism 8 for switching a ventilation direction of the air with respect to the filter member 7 in such a manner that the inflow face 7a and the outflow face 7b are alternated without disengaging the filter member 7 from the communicating path 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
