<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus or the like whereby settings and management associated with the security are easily executed and which easily realizes desired contents associated with the security. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus including: a security management section 112 for managing setting processing associated with the security; a setting difference discrimination section 116 that extracts a difference between existing setting values and revised setting values of one or more setting items associated with the security requested by a user; and an operating panel for displaying prescribed information for the user, the security management section 112 executes setting processing of security levels classified by stages according to a plurality of security policies by collective settings associated with the security by the user, and the operating panel is characterized in to display setting items whose setting values differ from the existing setting values and revision of which the user has no right. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
