PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily grasp failure information relating to both of an existing control device and an extended control device without adding special remodeling work on the existing control device in constructing of a gasoline alternative fuel injection system. SOLUTION: In the control device for the gasoline alternate fuel injection system adding an electronic control unit 3 for non-gasoline fuel injection control provided with a failure detection function for components relating to control on a gasoline injection system existing on an engine provided with an electronic control unit 1 for gasoline injection control detecting failure relating to injection, creating failure information and outputting the same to a failure information indication means, failure information output by an electronic control unit 1 is input to the electronic control unit 3 at once, and failure information created by the electronic control unit 3 is added to and integrated with the same by a method equivalent to logical add, and is output to a failure lamp 6 as a failure information indication means from the electronic control unit 3 to indicate a failure.
