PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail cleaning device capable of cleaning in a wide scope by manual work and increasing efficiency of the cleaning work. SOLUTION: This rail cleaning device is provided with levers 3, 3 which cross a fulcrum pin 2 turnably, whose rear end parts are slidably connected with a plate 4, and whose tip sides are bent in the direction for opposing, rollers for cleaning side face 8a, 8a provided in tip parts of each lever 3, respectively, a compression spring 5 connected with a section between predetermined sections of two levers 3, 3 and pressing the rollers for cleaning 8a, 8a against both side faces of a rail at all times, a roller for cleaning the front 8b around which waste 7b provided on an arm 9 provided by protruding from a lower part of the fulcrum pin is wound, a compression spring 10 for pressing the roller for cleaning the front 8b against the front of the rail at all times, an adjusting bar 11 giving external force in the direction for resisting to spring force of the compression spring 5 and letting the rollers for cleaning side face 8a, 8a leave and be separated from both side face parts of the rail, and an operation rod 12 for moving the whole device up and down.
