PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein engagement of meshing portions of a second gear and a first gear becomes worse and turning force of a motor is not transmitted from the first gear to the second gear in engine starting by the motor and the engine staring can not be performed. SOLUTION: An electric starter device of a model engine is comprised of a starter shaft 24 rotatably supported on a base 21 and rotating to start up the model engine 1, and a one-way bearing 25 fitted in a gear rotated by decelerated turning force of the motor 22 mounted on the base, wherein the starter shaft is rotatably supported in the one-way bearing and the model engine is rotated by the turning force of the motor.
