PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can prevent the simultaneous winning of a plurality of prize winning slots with game balls. SOLUTION: When the approach of shot balls into the first special variable prize ball device shiftable between the opened and closed positions is detected by the first counting switch, the first value is set with this as a storage releasing timer (SP 37) and when the approach is detected by an approaching ball detector, the second value is set with this as another storage releasing timer (SP39). Thus, a storage plate for storing the shot balls in the first area is controlled to the storage releasing position after the timing at which the shot balls approach the second specified approach port provided in the second area more advantageous for players than the first area.
