A packaging structure for an electromechanical acoustic transducer, enabling the size of the transducer to be reduced with its good acoustic characteristics maintained. A frame (12) is attached via a wall (19) to the inner surface (11b) of a tube body (11), and a blind tube-like yoke (13) is fixed to the frame (12) so that the bottom (13b) of the yoke (13) is on the housing (11) side. As a result, a sound passage (14) is formed between the yoke (13) and the wall (19) without increasing the thickness of the electromechanical acoustic transducer, which provides an electromechanical acoustic transducer with good acoustic characteristics. Alternatively, the sound passage (14) can also be secured by reducing the size of the electromechanical acoustic transducer, which enables a reduction in size of the electromechanical acoustic transducer with good acoustic characteristics maintained.
