<p>A speaker device that is thin, light-weighted, and small-sized, that has improved high-frequency characteristics of sound pressure even when a diaphragm having a top between the inner and outer peripheral edges of the diaphragm is employed, and that can reproduce high-quality sound. The speaker unit (100) includes the diaphragm having an inner peripheral edge (8a) connected to a voice coil bobbin (6) and also having an outer peripheral edge (8b) connected to a frame (5) through an edge (9). The diaphragm (8) has a top (8c) formed between the inner peripheral edge (8a) and the outer peripheral edge (8b) of the diaphragm, and the inner and outer peripheral edges (8a, 8b) are located closer to the sound emission side than the top (8c). The shape of a cross-section in a region from the top (8c) to the inner peripheral edge (8a) side is convex toward the sound emission side, and the shape of a cross-section is in a region from the top (8c) to the outer peripheral edge (8b) is substantially linear or is convex to the sound emission side. As a result, high-quality sound can be reproduced even when the diaphragm (8) is made thin and, in addition, high-frequency characteristics of sound pressure can be enhanced.</p> |
