A method for receiving and refunding tuition fees in the network is provided to enable a payer to pay the tuition fees conveniently without visiting a bank by receiving the tuition fees irrespective of cooperated banks, informing the payer of a registration state and result simultaneously with payment, and outputting a receipt in a school homepage. An online tuition fee reception file is generated by joining a tuition fee reception file and a virtual account master in a school server(S2). The generated online tuition fee reception file is transmitted to a cooperated bank server(S3). A virtual account number and registration payment details are provided to the payer(S4). The tuition fees are paid to the virtual account number and payment is informed to the payer(S6). The payer outputs the tuition fee receipt by logging in to the school server(S7). The online tuition fee reception file is completed by combining a school affair information database and tuition fee reception data, and the completed tuition fee reception file includes reception amount information and personal information of a student.
