An automated rice cooker is provided to prevent backflow of water inside a washing bath into a rice supply unit or a rice box by installing a water backflow prevention unit at the upper side of the washing bath. An automated rice cooker(1) comprises a body(2), a control panel, a rice box(10), a rice supply unit(20), a washing bath(30), and a rice cooking vessel(50), and a heating device(60). The rice box is provided with a sloping hopper. The rice supply unit supplies a fixed quantity of rice. The washing bath includes a rice washing unit(40) for washing rice with water from a water supply hose(4). The rice cooking vessel receives washed rice and water. The heating device heats the rice and the water inside the rice cooking vessel. The rice supply unit is a conveyor belt type(26) or a vertical transfer screw type for continual and fast supply of rice from the rice box to the washing bath. A water backflow prevention unit(100) prevents water infiltration to the rice supply unit and the rice box, so as to avoid adhesion of rice inside the rice supply unit or propagation of bacteria inside the rice box. Propagation of bacteria inside the washing bath is avoided also by blowing hot air with a blower(110) having a hot wire part(111). |
