<p>In a process to control the operation of an automotive hydraulic wheel brake (9) an initial pressure is generated and delivered at maximum pressure to an inlet valve (5). The valve is operated by an electrical control unit (11) whose current varies in response to a target pressure gradient or change in pressure gradient. The electrical current is reduced in response to an increase in the target pressure gradient, and increased in response to a decrease in the target pressure gradient. Also claimed is a commensurate brake control assembly.</p> |
