A lighting and generating apparatus using a sun light is provided to save energy by supplying power to an electric device when necessary by charging the generated power in a conventional battery unit. A lighting and generating apparatus using a sun light includes a convex lens(3), a concave lens(4), a solar heat collecting plate(5), a solar generating unit(6), and a battery unit(7). The convex and concave lenses guide the sun light indoor by using a light focusing characteristic of the convex lens and a light dispersion characteristic of the concave lens. Guided sun light is amplified and irradiates an indoor of a building. The solar heat collecting plate collects heat of the sun light and guides the heat to the solar generating unit. The solar generating unit generates power. The power is charged in the battery unit.
