<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a restrainable area of an occupant by an airbag in the initial stage of expansion when the airbag provided in a bag holder of a steering wheel expands and deploys. <P>SOLUTION: A thin portion 3b is extended to a periphery edge portion 3e side from the center side of a bag cover 3 to be formed to the periphery edge portion 3e, and a lower cover 30 is constituted so as not to regulate the opening motion when the bag cover 3 opens with expansion and deployment of the airbag 22, and so as to be partially deformed when the periphery edge portion 3e of the bag cover 3 is brought into contact with the lower cover. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
