<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To authenticate a refueled vehicle and collect a charge depending on the amount of refueling. <P>SOLUTION: A refueling control system 10 comprises a refueling inhibition device 21 having the function of inhibiting refueling on a vehicle 20, a computer-based control client 31 installed in a filling station 30, and a control server 40. When the vehicle 20 enters a filling space 32a, 32b, the control client 31 is connected for communication to the refueling inhibition device 21. The control client 31 transfers vehicle information identifying the vehicle 20 received from the refueling inhibition device 21, to the control server 40 via the Internet 50. The control server 40, upon authenticating the vehicle, controls the opening/closing of a motor-operated valve actuator 21c of the refueling inhibition device 21 mounted on the vehicle 20 to allow only refueling amounting to a charge. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
