<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make efficient and fast a process of acquiring pointer information for accessing a desired packet of a JPEG2000 code. <P>SOLUTION: When a tile having no specification of progression order change (POC) has user-specified packets arrayed successively from a head packet (step152, YE), pointer information (packet head position and packet length) of packets read in a memory A is found, and a process of storing them in an array B while sorting them in the default procession order of the tile is efficiently performed targeting only the user-specified packets (step155-160). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
