<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulsation damper for preventing damage of a diaphragm of forming a damper chamber. <P>SOLUTION: A plate 52 of the pulsation damper 50 is sandwiched between a cover 40 and a housing body 12. The diaphragm 56 is welded to the plate 52 on the whole periphery by laser welding, and is installed on the plate 52. A cutout is formed at a 90° interval on the outer periphery of the plate 52, and a communicating passage 310 is formed of the cutout. The communicating passage 310 communicates both side suction chambers 300 in the plate thickness direction of the plate 52, and fuel flows between both side suction chambers 300 in the plate thickness direction of the plate 52. The damper chamber 312 is respectively formed on both sides in the plate thickness direction between the plate 52 and the diaphragm 56. The diaphragm 56 is elastically deformed in response to a pressure change in the suction chambers 300, and reduces pressure pulsation of the fuel of the suction chambers 300. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
