DRIVE CONTROL DEVICE OF OPENING/CLOSING BODY FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive control device of an opening/closing body for a vehicle which suppresses the unnatural behavior of the opening/closing body as a whole.

SOLUTION: A control unit closes a trunk lid 13 by driving a drive unit motor in a connecting state of power transmission through a drive unit clutch of a drive unit 21. The control unit stops a drive force by the drive unit motor when detecting a latch 33 engaged with a striker 32 to be at a half latch position caused by the closing of the trunk lid 13 through the drive unit 21, and allows the latch 33 to be rotated to a full latch position by driving the latch 33 with a closer motor 34. The control unit controls the drive unit clutch to switch the power transmission from the connecting state to a disconnecting state when detecting the latch 33 to be at a full latch position caused by driving the latch 33 with the closer motor 34.
