摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method in which a flashmatic system or a pre-light-emission system and an auto-stroboscope system are concurrently used, and they are properly used according to a photographing distance and other photographing conditions (using a macro mode or the like) and also dimming control is performed by the plurality of systems, thereby widening a photography feasible range from a short distance to a long distance and reducing a failure photograph in exposure. <P>SOLUTION: In the image recording method, information on a distance to a subject is acquired before photography, and regular light emission is performed by calculating appropriate exposure including the reflectance of the subject by the pre-light-emission system that is a first illuminating light quantity control means on a shorter distance side than a predetermined value, and the regular light emission is directly performed by an auto-stroboscope system that is a second illuminating light quantity control means on a longer distance side than it.
