PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal which performs the optimal processing according to a partner when communication with the partner is not successful even if dial of a prescribed frequency is performed, and to provide a program. SOLUTION: This facsimile machine activates processing according to the partner among a plurality of processings when the communication with the partner is not successful even if the dial of the prescribed frequency is performed. Specifically, when the communication with the partner is not successful even if the dial of the prescribed frequency is performed, users' judgment is not uniformly asked but additional redial is automatically performed for a specified partner.
