PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a plurality of video image data with a cable having an HDMI standard, or the like satisfactorily. SOLUTION: When the video image data and data following them are sent to other devices in a format for transmission in synchronization with a pixel clock in one-pixel unit of the video image data; the plurality of video image data are obtained, the data of each pixel of the plurality of video image data are assigned to the transmission period of each pixel of one frame that can be transmitted in the format each, and the video image data that are synthesized by the assignment and have the format are output in synchronization with the pixel clock. Or, the pixel data of first video image data in the plurality of video image data are arranged at a pixel data transmission position prescribed in the format, an assignment is made for arranging the other video image data except the first ones at a data transmission position in a blanking period prescribed by the format, and the video image data in the format composited by the assignment are output in synchronization with the pixel clock.
