PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-button switch which ensures a smooth push button operation at any time through accurate engagement with a convex mount hole. SOLUTION: This push-button switch comprises a main unit 2 with a push button 1 having a movable contact 1a; a fixed side member 3 having mount holes 2a, 2b formed in the main unit 2 and a pair of convexes 3b, 3c which engages with the mount holes 2a, 2b with a fixed contact 3a formed therein; and a coil spring 4 mounted between the fixed side member 3 and the push button 1. A rib 6 extending in a direction of pressing force to the push button 1 is formed on the mount hole 2a, and a notch 5 to be engaged with the rib 6 is formed on the convex 3b.
