PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing a nozzle plate free from a protrusion such as a burr, a scratch or a deposit. SOLUTION: The nozzle plate manufacturing method of the present invention forms separation lines 10 of nozzle plates 2 by using a groove lines 10A and slit lines 10B, and thereby the nozzle plates 2 are not separated from a nozzle sheet 9 even after a separation line forming processing. As a result, the remaining part of the nozzle sheet 9 becomes a working space 11, a working process is performed without touching the nozzle plates 2 by using the working space 11, and the nozzle plates 2 are hardly scratched or stained, so that a productivity and work efficiency is improved. The nozzle plates 2 also hardly have a protrusion such as a burr, since the nozzle plates 2 are bent and cut at the groove lines 10A when they are separated from the nozzle sheet 9.
