PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive transfer sheet with a scent characterized in that the scent is generated for the first time when a tape is transferred in order to add a secondary effect in an action for marking data and documents. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive transfer sheet wherein a surface protective layer is formed on one face of a sheet substrate, a mark layer consisting of a character and a picture pattern is formed on the surface protective layer, and in addition, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is formed on either the mark layer or the surface protective layer, is characterized in that the surface protective layer contains perfume microcapsule, and the perfume microcapsule is broken when a transfer pressure of≥2.0 kgf/cm<SP>2</SP>is applied on the pressure-sensitive transfer sheet to bring about such a secondary effect that works to the sense of smell when the pressure-sensitive transfer sheet is pressure-sensitively transferred.
