PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly precisely predict generating of curling of a recording paper, and to perform exactly a processing for suppressing the generation of the curling. SOLUTION: Based on image data inputted, the coverage is calculated (100), and the length in the longitudinal direction of an ink droplet delivering region is calculated (102). Based on the length in the longitudinal direction of the delivering region and the length in the longitudinal direction of the recording paper, the ratio of blank of the blanks on the front and back ends is calculated (104) and humidity in a paper feeding tray is detected (106). Then, when the ratio of the blank is≥20%, and enough blanks exist on the recording paper printed, it is judged that there is no possibility of generating the curling (108). On the other hand, when the ratio of the blank is less than 20%, the recording paper is a regular paper, the coverage is larger than 30%, and the humidity is less than 80% (108-114), it is judged that the curling is to be generated on the recording paper printed, and a processing for suppressing the curling is performed (120, 124 and 126), and based on the image data, a printing processing is performed (128).
