METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ROLLER AND ROLLER OBTAINED BY THE SAME MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a roller having high precise dimensional stability without being affected by moisture in the storage, uniform and high quality free from variation and using a roller like formed body comprising a hydraulic material as a core material with a shortened manufacture process and improved production efficiency thereby and the roller. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the roller includes a step for applying an epoxy resin on the whole surface of te roller like formed body comprising the hydraulic material and a step for attaching a rubber material on the outer circumferential surface of the roller like formed body comprising the hydraulic material after the application of the epoxy resin and vulcanizing the rubber material by autoclave curing. As a result, the water absorption even in the autoclave curing in the vulcanization step and the water absorption in the air in the storage are also prevented to obtain the roller having remarkably excellent dimensional stability.
