PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety tire for ensuring compatibility between weight reduction and improvement of run flat durability by optimizing a load support structure. SOLUTION: The tire 1 is composed of a pair of bead parts 4 embedding a bead core 2 and a bead filler 3, a side wall part 5, and a tread part 6. The tire 1 is equipped with a carcass 7 made of a ply extending in a toroid state and a belt layer 8 positioning in an outer peripheral side of a crown part of the carcass 7 in the inner part. A main groove 9 extending along the tire circumferential direction is disposed at the tread part 6. A pair of right and left reinforcing layers 12 extending from a width end part 10 of the belt layer 8 over a buttress area 11 are disposed on the outer surface of the carcass 7 so that cords composing them are intersected each other across the tire circumferential direction C. An auxiliary belt layer 13 is disposed on the outside in the tire radial direction of the belt layer 8 so that the cords composing them extend across the tire circumferential direction C.
