Mobile machine for fitting and removing duvet covers, comprising two arms having laterally and vertically extendable clamps. The duvet is held in the clamps of the arms (B1) (B2) which are adjusted sideways to the width of the duvet. The user clamps the two corners (A1) (A2) of the duvet in the clamps, partially removes the cover and begins pulling the new cover on over the clamps. The user operates the command to raise the arms allowing the covers to be removed and fitted. Pressing the command returns the arms to their initial position. Pressure on the clamps releases the refitted duvet ready for laying on the bed.
