CONTINUOUS REGENERATION PROCESS FOR BIFUNCTIONAL CATALYSTS

A method for continuously regenerating a bifunctional catalyst is provided to regenerate the catalyst deactivated due to impurities contained in feedstock simply and effectively according to the proceeding of a reaction process. A method for regenerating a bifunctional catalyst comprises the step of regenerating catalysts in individual reactors by in-situ hydrogen stripping or hydrocarbon-based solvent cleaning, the catalysts in individual reactors being deactivated according to the proceeding of a catalytic reaction by the bifunctional catalyst within a reaction area including a plurality of reactors(1,2) in which a bifunctional catalyst is filled, and which are arranged in parallel with each other, wherein the catalytic reaction and the regeneration of the bifunctional catalyst are repeatedly switched in each of the reactors in a condition that inflow of a feedstock(3) and discharge of a product(11) are continuously performed based on the reaction area.
