The invention relates to a hinge, preferably a furniture hinge, consisting of a hinge arm which is pivotably mounted on an articulated axis, in such a manner that it cannot be displaced in a cup-shaped hinge part and is provided with a tongue which protrudes over the articulated axis or a cam which is eccentric in relation to the articulated axis or a control edge, which slides on a leaf spring which produces a closing moment on the closing area and is maintained with the end region on a pivotable hinge part. The spring leaf comprises at least two sections having different widths, whereby the at least one narrower section of the spring leaf pushes through a central recess of the hinge arm, from which a lower edge of a tongue is formed. The at least one wider section of the spring leaf is pressed by a transversally extending pin counter to the base of the hinge cup and is maintained. |
