GUAVA LEAF EXTRACT POWDER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF

The object is to provide a guava leaf extract powder which shows less det erioration in quality and functions even when stored for a long period after dissolution. Disclosed is a method for production of a guava leaf extract p owder, comprising extracting a guava leaf with hot water of 90 to 98~C, cond ensing the resulting extract to such an extent that the Brix sugar level rea ches 20 to 30, and lyophilizing the condensed extract. Also disclosed is a g uava leaf extract powder produced by the method.
