<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and an image forming method not only to eliminate the need of initial aging but also to rapidly print out paper on which an image is formed. <P>SOLUTION: Until predetermined time (T1) elapses just after commencing the start of a power supply part 66, an ATDC sensor 76 is not actuated, and toner is supplied by a toner supply part 68 based on the data quantity of the image formed on the paper just before commencing the start of the power supply part 66. When the predetermined time (T1) elapses just after commencing the start of the power supply part 66, the ATDC sensor 76 is actuated, and the toner is supplied by the toner supply part 68 based on the result of detection by the ATDC sensor 76. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
