<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, method and program which transmits image information based on user's operation. <P>SOLUTION: When a type of a manuscript is selected on a screen page 301 and then a defining button is depressed, the transition is made to a manuscript size selection screen page of a screen page 302. When the manuscript size is selected on the screen page 302 and the defining button is depressed, the transition is made to a resolution selection screen page 303. Then, when resolution is selected on the screen page 303 and the defining button is depressed, the transition is made to a mail destination selection screen page 304. Then, when the mail destination is selected on the screen page 304 and the defining button is depressed, the transition is made to a scanning starting stand-by screen page on a screen page 305.
