<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an initiator, an inflator and an airbag device comprising the inflator, wherein improper force is hardly applied to a connecting portion even when tensile force is applied to a harness, with respect to the initiator and the inflator wherein the harness is connected to an initiator main body through the connecting portion. <P>SOLUTION: An electrode pin 22 extends from an initiator main body 20, and a connector 51 connected with a harness 50 is connected with the electrode pin 22. A cap 60 is disposed in a state of surrounding a connection body of the electrode pin 22 and the connector 51, and a potting material is filled in the cap 60, thus a seal portion 61 covering the connection body of the electrode pin 22 and the connector 51 is formed.
