PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information input/output system which achieves a user interface environment which enables a user to intuitively intelligibly operate a computer by operating physical objects.

SOLUTION: The information input/output system includes one or more sensor tags each of which has an optical sensor group of four optical sensors on a bottom thereof and has a radio communication device, a display device, an installed radio communication device for communicating with the radio communication device, and an information processing system for executing user interface processing. lightness of a marker pattern displayed on a display screen of the display device by the optical sensor group is measured by a sensor tag position rotation calculation means in such a state that the bottom of the sensor tag is in contact with or proximity to the display screen, and a position in the display screen and information of rotation around an axis orthogonal to the display screen of the sensor tag are calculated on the basis of an obtained measurement value of lightness.
