<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure measuring instrument capable of quickly measuring a blood pressure value and having an automatic cuff winding mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: A blood pressure measuring instrument 1A is provided with the cuff having a hollow part 5a for axially inserting the upper arm 220 of a subject, and an upper arm insertion part casing 6 disposed with the cuff on its internal circumferential face. The cuff is provided with an upper arm compression air bag 13 wound around the subject's upper arm 220, a curler 10 positioned outside the upper arm compression air bag 13 and constituted into an approximately cylindrical shape to elastically deform radially, and a curler compression air bag 8 winding the upper arm compressing air bag 13 pushingly toward the subject's upper arm 220 by contracting the curler 10. The hollow part 5a, in a state before the upper arm compression air bag 8 is wound around the subject's upper arm 220, is so formed that the opening area is gradually reduced as it approaches from an inlet side opening part 5a1 toward an outlet side opening part 5a2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
