<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning device capable of discharging a large number of negative ions from a discharge port. <P>SOLUTION: The air cleaning device is obtained which is provided with the main body 3 having an air intake port 1 and an oblong discharge port 2, with an air passage 4 to communicate the intake port 1 and the discharge port 2 of the main body 3, a dust collection filter 5, a fan 6, and an ion generating means 7 installed inside the air passage 4, in which the ion generating means 7 is composed of a needle-like electrode 8 and the counter electrode 9 that are parallel and arranged in the vicinity of the discharge port 2, and in which by arranging the needle-like electrode 8 and the counter electrode 9 nearly in the center of a horizontal width of the air passage 4, the large number of negative ions can be discharged from the discharge port 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
