PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillation circuit in which the supply voltage dependency of an oscillation frequency is suppressed. SOLUTION: When a first charge and discharge circuit 10 completes discharging, the terminal voltage of a first capacitor C1 in the first charge and discharge circuit 10 is initialized to a supply voltage Vdd, and a second charge and discharge circuit 20 starts discharging. When a second charge and discharge circuit 20 completes discharging; the terminal voltage of a second capacitor C2 in the second charge and discharge circuit 20 is initialized to the supply voltage Vdd, and the first charge and discharge circuit 10 starts discharging. The first and second charge and discharge circuits 10, 20 repeat initialization and discharge alternately, and start discharging from the supply voltage Vdd at all times. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
