PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk player of which the convenience of a title file function is improved. SOLUTION: A control section 2 retrieves first such a title file that a main body section in a directory on a DVD storing an animation file therein is the same as a main body section of a file name of the animation file, and when the file is not retrieved, the control section 2 retrieves a file having such file name that extension units recorded on a DVD and a USB memory are the extension units for title file, and the file name of the retrieved file is displayed on a display device through an image processing section 3. When the file name is selected by a remote control operation, the animation provided with title is played back in accordance with the file of selected file name and the animation file.
