PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device in which slip-down of a minor diameter disk can be prevented even if it is used in vertical placing and collision to an optical pickup can be prevented. SOLUTION: The optical disk device is provided with an adapter 14 for minor diameter disk being freely attachable/detachable and used by being set to a concave part 2 for a major diameter disk of a disk tray 1. The adapter 14 is engaged with an outer peripheral part of the concave part 2 for major diameter disk and held, a concave part 15 for minor diameter disk in which a bottom part is opened is formed in the center, lugs 19a to 19d for preventing slip-down are formed at an outer peripheral part of the concave part 15 for minor diameter disk.
