PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory error recovery control method capable of recovering a software error without turning off the power of the entire information controller. SOLUTION: This information controller 1 in which a memory control part 7 controls a read/write operation to/from a built-in memory 4 is internally provided with a gate circuit 3 for switching the ON/OFF of power supply on a power supply conduction path 9 to the memory 4. When the memory control part 7 detects a software error, the gate circuit 3 is turned off for a predetermined constant time to cut off the power supply to the memory for the constant time, recovering the software error of the memory. Further, in the case of being connected to a host device 20, the host device is notified that the software error is detected, and when a power supply temporary stop command is received from the host device 20, the power supply to the memory is cut off for the constant time. The gate circuit 3 is further provided with an address decoding circuit and may turn off the power supply only to an software error occurrence address in the memory 4 for the constant time.
