PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration apparatus for an optical modulator. SOLUTION: The apparatus for calibrating a light modulator includes: a light source which emits predetermined light to the light modulator; an optical scanner which scans the light emitted from the light modulator to project it; an optical measurement means which measures the light emitted from the light source; and a light source control part which controls the light source so that the calibration light, which is invisible but can be sensed by the optical measurement means, is emitted to the optical scanner.
