PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display at least a rotating object contained in an image to be displayed having a vertical orientation as an attribute of a right posture on a display screen in such a way that the posture is set right with simple construction (to be more specific, by detecting a direction of gravity). SOLUTION: An image display device 1 displays at least the rotating object contained in the image to be displayed having the vertical orientation as the attribute of the right posture on the display screen in such a way that the posture is set right, the image display device 1 is equipped with a direction of gravity detecting part 131 to detect the direction of gravity, and a rotating object processing part 132 to adjust the postures of the respective rotating objects in such a way that the vertical directions of the respective rotating objects in the display screen coincide with the direction of gravity projected on the display screen.
