PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust cam overcoming inconvenience of deformation, an alignment error, or the like between gears of a gear wheel transmission. SOLUTION: The thrust cam 1 comprises two separate parts 2, 3 movable relative to each other. The parts 2, 3 are of ring shape, and the outer surfaces 4 and inner surfaces 5 of the respective rings 2, 3 are spherical. The inner ring 2 is rotatable by a certain angle to the planes of the rings 2, 3 within the outer ring 3 without restraint. The outer ring 3 has an edge 7 extending in an axial direction AA' at the outer peripheral part 6. The edge 7 is rounded so that the height H of the edge 7 is reduced from the center 9 of the edge 7 toward the farthest ends 10, 11 in the radial direction of the edge 7.
