PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub unit bearing capable of preventing an inner ring element from comming off from a hub shaft even when loosening occures between the inner ring element and the hub shaft and the hub unit bearing, and a creep occurs from the loosening when handling the hub unit bearing or when performing adjusting working of both sides of a brake rotor. SOLUTION: In the hub unit bearing, a small diameter part is provided on a hub shaft via a stepped part, a spiral groove is formed in an inner circumferential surface of an inner ring element press-fitted and fixed to the small diameter part, and the angle of inclination of the spiral groove is set to be the same as that of the creep direction.
