The present invention relates to prophylactic or therapeutic treatments for hindering blood vessel formation (for example, angiogenesis) for example for hindering tumour growth. In particular, the invention relates to a vaccine or medicament comprising at least one siRNA that is complementary to the nucleotide sequence encoding angiomotin or a fragment thereof.
